Invading Russian forces destroy 28 civilian targets in Zaporizhzhia region per day

On August 8, the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction did not change significantly. The main efforts of the enemy are focused on maintaining the occupied borders. During the day, the Russian occupiers shelled Ukrainian positions with tanks, rocket, and barrel artillery along the entire front line.

"According to the report of the Main Office of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region, during the past day, the Russian occupiers fired at civilian infrastructure in the area of ​​the settlements of Temyrivka, Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Novoyakovlivka, Hulyaipole, Chervone, Mahdalinivka, Stepnohirsk, Luhivske, Poltavka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Chervone, Olhivske, Charivne, Dorozhnianka, Zahirne, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepove. 28 reports were received about the destruction of civil infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by the Russian occupation forces," the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration emphasized.

During the day, 1,137 people, including 235 children, were evacuated from the temporarily Russia-occupied territory.
