Invading Russian forces accumulate reserves, preparing for Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive in Luhansk region
Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, says that the invading Russian forces are accumulating personnel and heavy equipment, as well as blowing up bridges and mining everything around
He said this on Espreso TV.
"For the time being, everything is more or less stable. Invading Russian forces are trying to recapture populated areas that have been liberated and de-occupied by Ukraine's Armed Forces, but nothing is succeeding. We have clear information that the Russian enemy is entrenching, that is, preparing for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive. The Russian troops are also accumulating reserves of both personnel and heavy equipment. In addition, they blow up bridges and mine everything around," the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration said.
Serhii Haidai noted that Russian troops from the Kharkiv region and Lyman were fleeing to the Luhansk region, so the concentration of enemy forces is quite large now.
"Ukraine's Armed Forces are liberating the territory of the Luhansk region step by step. However, the Russian enemy continues to carry out powerful shelling, tries to involve aviation, and also tries to find weak spots in the defense of Ukrainian forces with small counterattacks. But everyone is keeping in line at our positions, and everything is stable," he noted.
