In the Novgorod-Siversky district of the Chernihiv region, shots were fired towards the Ukrainian border outpost - journalist

On April 13, on the border in the Novgorod-Siversky district of the Chernihiv region, shots from small arms and grenade launchers were heard from the invader, they were not aimed, towards our border outpost

Oleksiy Maslov, a journalist for public broadcasting of the Chernihiv region, spoke about the shots from the invader at the border on Espreso TV.

He said: "For the Chernihiv region, it remains relevant to be vigilant and monitor the moments of provocative actions by the invader. Yesterday, on April 13, there were shots at the border, possibly near the village of Gremyach, this is the northernmost point of the territory of Ukraine in the Novgorod-Siversky district of the Chernihiv region. Shots from small arms and grenade launchers were heard from the invader. The shots were aimed at our border outpost".

"Obviously, according to military experts, there is a double goal on the part of the invader, this is to provoke a retaliatory strike in order to accuse Ukraine of shelling the territory of the Russian Federation, and the second goal is to divert some part of Ukrainian units from the east and south of Ukraine", Oleksiy Maslov noted.
