This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing on July 5.

"There has been an increase in cases of acute intestinal infections in the temporarily occupied areas of Skadovsk and Henichesk in the Kherson region. The report indicates that the disease shows signs of cholera," the report says.

The occupation authorities are refusing to acknowledge the rise in cases and are attempting to hide the deteriorating sanitary conditions in the region. They have secretly vaccinated their own officials and close associates against cholera.

Russia launched 47 airstrikes and 59 MLRS attacks against Ukraine

On July 4, the enemy carried out a missile attack on the city of Pervomaiskyi and the village of Bilyi Kolodyaz in the Kharkiv region.

Furthermore, there were 47 airstrikes and 59 MLRS attacks targeting Ukrainian troops and civilian areas. These Russian terrorist attacks caused injuries to civilians and resulted in damage to residential buildings, businesses, administrative structures, and private vehicles.

There is a high possibility of missile and airstrikes being launched across the entire territory of Ukraine.

Situation in different regions of Ukraine

The enemy army is focusing its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, leading to intense battles. There were 40 combat clashes in these areas during the day.

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops intensified reconnaissance activities in the border areas. They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 15 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 7 settlements across the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian defenders repelled all the Russian attacks in this direction.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Ukrainian defenders thwarted all the Russian attempts to push them out of their positions.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops thwarted all enemy attacks near 2 settlements and continued offensive actions in the southern and northern parts of the area, solidifying their positions. Russians shelled over 15 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements with artillery.

In the Marinka direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery, while Ukrainian forces thwarted all attacks near Marinka.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled over 15 settlements and launched air strikes near Vuhledar.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops launched air strikes near Rivnopil and shelled over 30 settlements across Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. They are fortifying their positions, launching artillery attacks on identified enemy targets, and implementing measures to counter enemy artillery.

AFU hit 4 Russian ammunition depots, 18 artillery systems, and 2 EW stations

In the past day, the defense aviation conducted 13 strikes on areas with enemy personnel, 3 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems, and 1 strike on the enemy's command post.

Missile units and artillery targeted areas where enemy forces, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated. They destroyed 4 ammunition depots, 18 artillery pieces in firing positions, 3 anti-aircraft defense systems, and 2 enemy electronic warfare stations. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 5 reconnaissance UAVs of operational-tactical level.
