I believe Ukrainian Armed Forces’ current actions will develop into great success - Terra reconnaissance unit commander
Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra reconnaissance unit of the Azov tactical group fighting in the Bakhmut direction, says that Russian forces are afraid to bring in equipment and conduct rotations not only during the day, but also at night
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Things are going quite well in the Bakhmut direction. Of course, extremely heavy fighting continues, the enemy continues to cling to every inch of land both in Bakhmut and on the flanks, but is not very successful. We have some successes, but I cannot say exactly where and how much, because we have to rely on official sources. When the time comes, we will be able to tell you everything. Personally, I believe that what is happening now will be developed into a very big success," said the commander of the Terra reconnaissance unit.
Mykola Volokhov said that Russian troops are afraid to bring armored vehicles, conduct maneuvers or rotations in the daytime, because it is all destroyed by Ukrainian artillery.
"The enemy is intimidated and in a sense driven into a corner, it is even difficult for them to dig trenches because our unmanned aircraft are constantly attacking them, using “kamikaze” drones. Accordingly, there is a certain lull during the day. In the morning and at night, the enemy starts moving armored vehicles, but we are already working on this. Now it is difficult for the Russians to rotate at night, because we have drones with thermal imaging cameras. The nature of the fighting during the day is infantry fighting. I should note that the nature of the fighting in Bakhmut has not changed for several months. It looks more like an infantry showdown with the support of a small amount of equipment," Volokhov said.
