Hungarian ambassador is summoned to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry over Orban's anti-Ukrainian rhetoric
MFA summoned Hungarian Ambassador István Íjgyártó to protest recent remarks by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban

"It was emphasized to the Hungarian diplomat that the anti-Ukrainian rhetoric that has been voiced by the Hungarian leadership for a long time is absolutely unacceptable and damaging to Ukrainian-Hungarian relations," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
In addition, Budapest was also urged to stop "this negative trend" in order to avoid "irreparable consequences" for bilateral relations, and emphasised Kyiv's readiness to develop constructive good neighbourly relations with Hungary.
