How many more massive attacks Russia has potential for?
Valeriy Romanenko, an aviation expert and leading researcher at the State Aviation Museum, believes that Russia still has the potential for three such massive attacks
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Russia still has the potential for three similar massive attacks. As of August, the Russians had about 600 missiles, and this was an untouchable stockpile. Then the Russians started producing missiles at a rate of about 120 missiles per month. For 4 months, the enemy did not make any serious launches and its costs were minimal. By the end of 2023, the Russians already had more than 1,000 missiles. In the last two attacks, the enemy used up 200 missiles. That is, they still have about 300 missiles in their inviolable stockpile," Romanenko emphasized.
The aviation expert also added that Russia is still planning to produce Kh-50 missiles.
"This is a cheaper version of the Kh-101, it is simpler and more primitive. But so far there has been no use of these missile systems. This is a conventional cruise missile that can be easily shot down even by artillery systems. The Russians are also preparing several new types of Shahed types. They are less powerful than those currently used by the enemy," Romanenko said.
- On the night of December 29, Russia launched several groups of Shaheds that attacked Ukraine, and in the morning the terrorists launched missiles. Russian troops hit high-rise buildings, educational institutions, a shopping center and a maternity hospital. As of the evening of January 1, 6 more people were reported dead.
- On the morning of January 2, Russian troops attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation. A series of explosions occurred in Kyiv and Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, people were killed and injured, and houses were destroyed.
