Head of Bundestag defense committee appealz to Scholz after France's decision to transfer light tanks and Bastion to Ukraine
Head of Bundestag defense committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmerman, reacted to France's decision to transfer light tanks and Bastion armoured vehicles to Ukraine. In her message, she addressed German Chancellor Olaf Scholz that "now the ball is in Berlin's court."
Official wrote this on Twitter.
"The other partner countries are leading again. Now we can finally start in the spirit of Franco-German friendship, right, Olaf Scholz? The ball is now in Berlin's court. Now we just have to score it," Strack-Zimmermann wrote.
On January 4, it became known that France will transfer AMX-10RC wheeled tanks and ACMAT Bastion armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron promised Zelenskyu this during a telephone conversation.
