Germany hands over to Ukraine 13th armoured repair and evacuation vehicle, prepares 50 field heaters

This is stated on the portal of the German government.

It is noted that over the past week, Germany has handed over to Ukraine another, already thirteenth armoured recovery vehicle Bergerpanzer 2.

Bergerpanzer 2 is developed on the basis of the Leopard 1 battle tank. It provides restoration of vehicles damaged in battle, support in the installation and dismantling of engines and turrets.

In addition, the list of aid from Germany to Ukraine also includes 13 border guard vehicles, one ambulance and two forklifts.

• On December 22, the German opposition appealed to the federal government to provide Kyiv with Patriot anti-aircraft missiles. Secretary General of the opposition Christian Social Union (CSU) Martin Huber also asked for the supply of Leopard main battle tanks to Ukraine.
