Germany delivers new aid package to Ukraine: what it includes

The new military aid package from Germany includes:

• ammunition for the Leopard 2A6
• 3 Gepard anti-aircraft systems and 30,240 rounds of ammunition
• 2500 155 mm shells
• 2 WiSENT 1 MC demining vehicles
• 10 Vector UAVs with spare parts
• 2 border guard vehicles
• 2 AMPS communication protection systems for helicopters
• 8 Zetros trucks
• 2 HX81 tractors
• 5 HX81 semi-trailers
• 8 vehicles
• 25,536 40-mm shells for automatic grenade launchers
• medical supplies.

"The supply is made from the stocks of industrial enterprises financed by German funds to strengthen security capabilities. Some of the equipment needs to be modernized or is under production; training is also being conducted," the statement says.

• Earlier, the media reported that Ukraine would receive 20 more Marder infantry fighting vehicles from the Bundeswehr and German industrial warehouses than the federal government had promised. According to the Ministry's report on the annual balance of military aid, 80 Marder infantry fighting vehicles have already been delivered to Ukraine, and another 40 are planned to be financed.
