Germany can bring Ukraine's victory closer by boosting military support, says Kuleba
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on Germany to bring Ukraine's victory closer by increasing military support and pressure on the Russian Federation.
Kuleba made these comments in an address to the conference held by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the correspondent for Ukrinform reports.
The minister noted that if Europe gives way, then Russia will destroy the normal and stable life of every European household. Therefore, it is necessary to stop Moscow and prevent it from blackmailing Europe with the help of energy resources and inflation.
He said that the war should end on Ukraine's terms, and for this our country needs Germany's help.
"Germany can bring victory closer by strengthening support for Ukraine. Main battle tanks and armored vehicles, additional howitzers, MLRS and anti-aircraft weapons will help improve the situation on the battlefield. At the same time, the supply of ground-based air defense systems will help protect civilians from devastating Russian strikes," Kuleba said.
He also called on Germany to strengthen efforts to put pressure on Russia, in particular through a full embargo on energy carriers, disconnection of all Russian and Belarusian banks from SWIFT, prohibition of propaganda in Europe, withdrawal of all German companies from the Russian Federation and suspension of visa issuance.
"Crimes committed by Russians in Ukraine cannot be unpunished. We expect Germany to support all efforts aimed at bringing criminals to justice," Kuleba emphasized.
