Germany announces EUR 1 billion spring aid package for Ukraine

The German defense minister made the announcement during the 8th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Ramstein, an Ukrinform reporter informs.
"We are talking in general about a spring package amounting to more than EUR 1 billion," he said and added "Priority No. 1 is air defense, air defense and more air defense. Especially in terms of ammunition."
According to Boris Pistorius, Germany will send to Ukraine the Patriot system, 7 more Gepard self-propelled artillery systems, Iris-T SLM systems and guided missiles for them.
