22 people injured in Kharkiv over one day due to Russian attacks

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to him, as a result of a series of attacks with various types of weapons - S-300 missiles, drones, UMPB D-30 bombs - on three neighborhoods of the city, private and apartment buildings, an educational institution and civilian cars in the city were damaged.

In addition, 22 people were injured during the day. 

The Russian army also attacked the Kharkiv region over the last day. At 5 p.m., a house burned down in the village of Slobozhanske as a result of the KAB bombing.

In the afternoon, at 2:05 and 3:50 p.m., two people were wounded in the attacks on Vovchansk. In the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv district, 4 private houses were damaged as a result of MLRS shelling. 

At 11:55 a.m., Russian troops attacked Vovchansk again, killing a 79-year-old woman. Around the same time, a private house and outbuildings were damaged in the village of Lyman, with the house catching fire, and a private house was damaged in the village of Borova, Izium district, as a result of MLRS shelling. 

The head of the Regional Military Administration also said that 2,202 local residents have been evacuated from the Chuhuiv district, 3533 from Kharkiv district, 79 from Bohodukhiv district and 2,177 people have been evacuated by volunteers. A total of 7,991 people were evacuated.

• In the afternoon of May 14, the Russian army shelled Kharkiv with aircraft, 7 strikes were recorded on the residential sector. Over 20 people were injured.
