First batch of US energy equipment delivered to Ukraine
Ukraine has received the first batch of power gear for CHPPs and TPPs from the US Department of Energy
This was announced on Facebook by the Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Oleksandr Kubrakov.
"The first batch of necessary equipment from the US Department of Energy has already been delivered to Ukraine. This batch is part of the $ 53 million assistance announced by American partners last month," the statement reads.
Kubrakov claims American partners are among the leaders in assisting Ukraine in restoring energy infrastructure. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than $145 million has already been provided for the repair and support of Ukrainian power grids. Generators, transformers and other equipment were delivered to restore critical infrastructure.
The supply of energy equipment in cooperation with USAID is also expected in the near future. This line has already provided equipment worth about $25 million to Ukraine.
