Finland's Amnesty International loses about 400 donors over report accusing Ukraine's Armed Forces of risking civilian lives
After the publication of a report in which Amnesty International accused Ukraine's Armed Forces of putting civilians in the country (currently under attack by Russia) at risk, the Finnish branch of the human rights organization has lost about 400 donors.

This was stated by the head of the Finnish branch of Amnesty International, Frank Johansson.
"This was a huge communication blunder that led to a loss of confidence in the work done by Amnesty", he said.
According to him, the report on the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly lacked sufficient context, and it was not clear enough that the organization condemned Russia's military actions.
Later, 80 members of the Norwegian branch of Amnesty International resigned after the report on the Ukrainian military. 60 people announced their dismissal in protest against the organization, and the other 20 did not explain the reason for their resignation.
