"Filigree neurosurgery": Ukraine's Foreign Ministry is working to deprive Russia's top leadership of immunity from prosecution
Currently, the main goal of Ukraine regarding the special tribunal is to resolve the issue of the immunity of the "top three" Russian leaders from prosecution in international law
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a telethon.
"They (the Joint Investigation Team - ed.) have to make progress on the form of the tribunal and on the issue of Putin's immunities as head of state, prime minister and foreign minister," Kuleba said.
He explained that "in international law, in any country, there are three people who have full immunity from prosecution."
"And our goal is to definitely solve this issue of immunity. Legally, it is possible, but it is a kind of "filigree neurosurgery," the minister emphasized.

Earlier, Kuleba announced that the coalition supporting the creation of a special tribunal for Russia already includes 29 countries.
