Fighting in Kreminna forests continues in Svatove direction - Deep State

"In the Svatove direction, positional battles continue in the forests of Kreminna. The enemy has transferred significant forces to this sector, including Wagner PMC convicts, and is trying to get our forces out of Ploschanka and Chervonopopivka," the statement said.

Analysts also note that the situation at this section of the front in the Luhansk region remains difficult and tense.

In addition, in the Donetsk region in the Bakhmut direction there are also fierce battles. According to experts, the situation in Opytne has "significantly deteriorated".

"Russian troops launched a series of attacks in many sectors from Spirne to Mayorsk," Deep State adds.

In the Avdiivka direction, fighting continues in the center of Marinka. The situation has not changed in Zaporizhzhia and Tavria directions, as well as in the northern Ukraine near the border with Belarus.

• On December 7 the head of Severodonetsk regional administration Vlasenko said that Kreminna is a springboard for further liberation of the Luhansk region. "Kreminna is located separately from the triangle Rubizhne - Severodonetsk - Lysychansk. During the occupation, Kreminna was on the sidelines. Therefore, this town can become a good springboard for further liberation of the Luhansk region."
• On December 21, Haidai, head of the Luhansk Military Administration, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have gained a foothold in Bilohorivka and are making progress from Svatove to Kreminna. 
• On December 24, Haidai said that Russian forces had relocated the occupation administration out of Svatove.
