He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The front line is holding despite all the efforts of the Russian army to break through the defense of the Armed Forces, they are not succeeding. Now something is happening deep in their rear - sometimes explosions, sometimes stones from the sky," Gaidai remarked.
According to him, the base of the Russian army for transshipment was located in Svatovo.
"Something happened to them there. Svatovo is conveniently logistically located. They could have sent troops in the direction of Kharkiv, towards Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, but now the Russian army cannot do anything because the explosions took place at the base. There was fire and explosions for hours," - noted Gaidai.
