EU should find arguments for Hungary to join 10th package of sanctions - Kuleba
The draft of the 10th EU sanctions package against Russia is not strong enough yet, but Ukraine is working with all member states to include sanctions against the Russian nuclear and missile industry
This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at an online briefing on Tuesday.
"We are now working with all member states to ensure that the 10th sanctions package includes nuclear, missile, and propaganda sanctions, that is, sanctions against all key sectors for the Russian military machine and economy. As of now, what I see in the work at the EU level is that we think the draft 10th package is not strong enough. But there is still time to strengthen it, and I think we will get the result we need," he said.
In addition, commenting on Hungary's intention to veto any EU sanctions on Russian nuclear energy, Kuleba said that the EU "must find arguments and levers for Hungary to join the strong 10th sanctions package."
