Estonian PM criticizes admission of Russians and Belarusians to Olympics
Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has criticized the International Olympic Committee's decision to allow citizens of Russia and Belarus to participate in the 2024 Olympics under a neutral flag
Kaja Kallas wrote about this on Twitter.
“Disappointed by the IOC's decision to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to attend the 2024 Paris games. Politically and morally wrong – time to strengthen isolation, not give in to Russia,” she tweeted.
At the same time, the Estonian prime minister added that sport is a tool of “the Russian propaganda machine, and to ignore it means to side with aggression.”
