The presidents of Ukraine and Turkey have discussed the war in Ukraine. During a phone conversation, Recep Erdogan has reportedly offered Volodymyr Zelenskyy mediation in negotiations with Putin
Turkey’s Hurriyet reported that during a phone conversation with Zelenskyy, Turkey’s President Erdogan said that he was ready to make a "powerful diplomatic contribution to the establishment of a lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine," including mediation in the negotiation process.
The Turkish president also expressed condolences over the tragic helicopter crash in Brovary on January 18.
