At least 60 clashes took place in the frontline over the last day. Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops fought off Russian attacks in 6 directions eliminating 780 soldiers

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from 24.02.22 to 28.03.24 are approximately:

  • personnel - about 439,970 (+780) people,
  • tanks - 6,914 (+10) 
  • armored combat vehicles - 13,237 (+21) 
  • artillery systems - 10,963 (+32)
  • MLRS - 1,021 (+2) 
  • air defense systems - 729 (+1) 
  • aircraft - 347 (+0) 
  • helicopters - 325 (+0) 
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 8,590 (+22),
  • cruise missiles - 2,017 (+2),
  • ships/boats - 26 (+0) 
  • submarines - 1 (+0) 
  • motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 14,595 (+56) 
  • special equipment - 1,800 (+6).
 

General Staff report: Russia is trying to attack Ukrainian positions in 6 directions, mostly in Novopavlivka

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

At the same time, Russia maintains a military presence in the regions bordering Ukraine, increases the density of minefields along the state border, and conducts sabotage activities.

In the Kupyansk direction, the invading Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 5 Russian attacks near the towns of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Terny in Donetsk region. The Russian forces tried to break through Ukrainian troops' defenses.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops defeated four Russian attacks near Ivanivske and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders fought off 14 attacks near Berdychi, Semenivka and Nevelske in Donetsk region. The Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian units near Novomykhailivka and Heorhiivka. The Russian forces, supported by air power, tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defenses 27 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian troops, supported by aviation, attacked Ukrainian positions 4 times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region; Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops keep trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, the Russian military made an unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian troops' positions.

Russian forces conducted 11 missile strikes and 77 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine

Over the past day, 60 clashes took place.

In total, the Russian forces launched 11 missile strikes, 77 air strikes, fired 141 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine using Shahed UAVs. Data on this attack is being clarified.

Air strikes hit 8 settlements in Kharkiv region, 16 settlements in Donetsk region.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces destroyed a Russian air defense system and an electronic warfare station

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 10 areas of Russian troops, weapons and military equipment.

Ukrainian missile troops struck 2 Russian forces' concentration areas, an air defense facility, an electronic warfare station, 3 UAV control points and another important enemy object.
