Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 10 Russian tanks and over 1,000 servicemen in 24 hours — General Staff
Over the last day, 74 combat engagements took place in the frontline. Ukrainian army repelled 26 Russian attacks in the Avdiivka direction eliminating 1,070 soldiers

Russia's attacks on Ukraine
In total, the Russian troops launched 7 missile airstrikes, 10 air strikes, and fired 86 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. An educational institution, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
At night, the Russian forces struck again, using 8 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all Russian drones.
Krasnyi Khutir, Chernihiv region; Rozhkovychi, Sumy region were hit by air strikes.
More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Situation in key frontline areas
Over the past day, 74 clashes took place.
According to Ukraine's General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the northern areas bordering Belarus.
In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 4 Russian attacks near Synkivka and east of Pishchane in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian military fought off 6 Russian troops' attacks near Terny and Yampolivka in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces beat back 4 attacks near Bohdanivka and Ivanivske in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the invading Russian forces, who are trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers defeated 21 Russian attacks near Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and 5 more attacks near Pervomayske and Nevelske in Donetsk region over the past day.
In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian forces continue to hold back the Russian troops near Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders countered 22 attacks.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled the Russian attack north of Pryiutne, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the Russian troops continue trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Thus, over the past day, the Russian forces conducted 8 unsuccessful assault operations.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 6 areas of Russian troops' concentration. Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile.
Ukrainian missile troops struck at 1 Russian artillery unit and 1 electronic warfare station.
