Russia's attacks on Ukraine

Russian forces launched 4 missiles,110 air strikes, fired 95 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

At night, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine using 17 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces and means destroyed 14 attack UAVs.

8 settlements in Donetsk region; 3 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Situation on key frontlines

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders defeated two Russian troops' attacks near Ivanivka and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops fought off 3 Russian attacks near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 19 Russian troops' attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the invading Russian forces, who are trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 23 Russian troops' attacks in the area of Avdiivka and another 18 attacks south of Tonenke and near Pervomayske and Nevelske in Donetsk region over the last day.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops are deterring the Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian forces beat back 32 attacks.

In Novopavlivka, Ukrainian defenders countered a Russian attack north of Pryiutne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled a Russian attack near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding their positions and repelling the Russian forces' attacks. Despite significant losses, the occupying Russian army keeps trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the Russian troops conducted 1 unsuccessful assault.

Ukrainian Defense Forces strikes at Russian troops' positions

Ukrainian soldiers keep on inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying Russian forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile.

Ukrainian missile troops struck 2 Russian areas of personnel concentration, 2 control points, 1 artillery unit, and 2 ammunition depots.

• Over the past day, 98 combat clashes took place at the front. Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous Russian attacks in seven directions and eliminated 930 occupiers.
