Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invading forces. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 10 Russian attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and another 17 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske, Donetsk region, over the past day.
In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops hold back the Russian troops near Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian forces rebuffed 13 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the invading Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the Russian troops continue trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the Russian forces conducted 3 unsuccessful assault attacks on Ukrainian troops’ positions.
Over the last day, 64 combat clashes took place. In total, the Russian forces carried out 3 air strikes and 16 MLRS attacks at Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements.
