Russia loses tank, 11 armored vehicles and 580 soldiers per day of war in Ukraine

General Staff report: Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defense 24 times in Novopavlivka sector

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the invading Russian army did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated 16 Russian attacks near the settlements of Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region. The Russian troops, supported by aviation, tried to break through Ukrainian troops' defenses.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defense forces fought off five Russian attacks near Bohdanivka Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces beat back Russian troops' 20 attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the Russian forces in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Vodiane in the Donetsk region. The invading Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 24 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian fighters attacked Ukrainian positions 7 times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region; Robotyne and west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian military are trying to drive Ukrainian troops from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, they made one unsuccessful assault on Ukrainian troops' positions.

Russian army launches 16 missile strikes and 130 air strikes on Ukraine

Over the last day, 76 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 16 missile strikes, 130 air strikes, fired 65 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, the Russian troops attacked Ukraine using 27 Shahed UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the attack drones.

2 settlements in Chernihiv region; 5 settlements in Sumy region; 3 settlements in Kharkiv region; 15 settlements in Donetsk region; 1 settlement in Zaporizhzhia region were hit by air strikes.

About 145 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian forces strike at 4 areas of Russian personnel concentration

Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 4 areas of Russian troops' concentration.
