Drone crashes on military facility in Russia’s Volgograd region – Russian media

The Baza Telegram channel reported that a drone allegedly tried to attack a military unit in the Gorodyshchensky district at almost 3 a.m. According to the Telegram channel, the drone was intercepted and no damage was done.
In turn, the Volgograd-based V1.ru reports that the downed drone fell on a military facility, without specifying which one.
The governor of the region, Andrey Bocharov, claims that the drone was "intercepted and neutralized by the Russian Defense Ministry," adding that "there were no casualties or damage to civilian or military facilities."
Contrary to this, the Regnum news agency reports that the drone fell, hitting a lightning rod system.
- On September 7, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported a drone attack on the Russian capital and said that air defense was working. The Emergency Situations Ministry reported a large fire.
