Explosions in Russia's several regions: local authorities blame Ukraine

Explosion near Southern Military District headquarters in Rostov
An explosion occurred in the vicinity of the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Authorities have mentioned the involvement of the Air Defense Forces.
According to reports from Russian Telegram channels, three explosions were heard near the Southern Military District headquarters.
Preliminary information from the publication suggests that a vehicle exploded, leading to a significant fire.
Governor Vasily Golubev conveyed that around 3:00 a.m. in Rostov-on-Don, the air defense system was activated, successfully shooting down an unmanned aerial vehicle. Ground consequences are currently being assessed.
The fire was brought under control by 04:00, with visible damage including shattered windows and a damaged building facade.
Later, the governor updated the situation, mentioning two UAVs. One fell outside the city in the western part of Rostov, while the other landed in the city center, near St. Pushkinskaya, 42, resulting in damage to several vehicles and one person injured.
At 05:16, the Telegram channel reported the detection of drones over Rostov once more.
Drone attack on Moscow
The mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, has informed the public about a drone attack on the Russian capital, Moscow. He also announced the activation of air defense measures. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported a significant fire incident.
In a Telegram channel post, Sobyanin revealed, "Tonight, in the Ramenskiy city district, our air defense forces thwarted an attempted drone attack on Moscow.”
He notes that there were no injuries or damage at the location where the drone debris fell, near Zhukovsky airport. However, neighboring houses did experience blown-out windows.
Simultaneously, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported a major fire incident in the Moscow suburbs, without specifying the exact location.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has attributed the attack to Ukraine, stating, "Kyiv attempted to target Russian territory with three drones. One was intercepted and destroyed by our air defense over the Moscow region, while the other two were downed over the Rostov region."
Russia accuses Ukraine of a drone attack in the Bryansk region
Explosions were reported in the Bryansk region of Russia on the night of September 7. Governor Alexander Bogomaz accuses Ukraine of an alleged drone attack.
Bogomaz stated, "Tonight, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using a UAV, but our Russian air defense successfully intercepted and destroyed the drone over the Bryansk region.”
He also added that there had been no injuries or damage reported, and emergency services were on the scene.
