Defense Forces of Ukraine repel Russian attacks near two dozen settlements

This was reported by the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

On December 16, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of more than 20 settlements. Among them: Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; and Bakhmut, Opytne, Zelenopillya, Andriivka, Mariinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

Ukrainian missile troops and artillery hit 5 areas of the occupants' personnel concentration. The military also hit an enemy control point and an ammunition depot.

• On December 16, Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on the civilian and energy infrastructure of Ukraine: the enemy launched 98 missiles and fired more than 65 times from MLRS.
