Danilov explains why Ukrainians were not warned about the start of Russia's full-scale invasion 

Danilov told about this in an interview with Wirtualną Polska.

When asked why the Ukrainians did not directly hear that a full-scale war would begin and whether the Secretary of the National Security Council did not think that such a warning would have helped to avoid many victims, he answered that the authorities had no right to allow panic.

"We could not allow panic. The first task of the Russians was to destabilize society. If a mass panic broke out, no one would be able to cope with it. All the victims are among the civilians on Putin's conscience, and no one is in a hurry to bring him to justice," said Danilov.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities were preparing for the invasion.

"If we were not preparing for war, we would not be sitting in this cabinet today, and Russian tanks would be in Warsaw, Prague or Vilnius. We are defending not only our land, but also the whole of Europe. This is sufficient proof that preparing for war was conducted," Danilov said.
