Czech Republic recognized Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainian people
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Czech Senate had recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people
He announced this on Twitter.
The Head of State thanked the Czech Republic for "restoring historical justice."
"I welcome the decision of the Czech Senate to recognize the Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians. I am grateful to my Czech friends for establishing the truth and restoring historical justice. Punishment for all past and present crimes of Russia is inevitable," the President wrote.
