Czech Republic recognized Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainian people

He announced this on Twitter.

The Head of State thanked the Czech Republic for "restoring historical justice."

"I welcome the decision of the Czech Senate to recognize the Holodomor as genocide of Ukrainians. I am grateful to my Czech friends for establishing the truth and restoring historical justice. Punishment for all past and present crimes of Russia is inevitable," the President wrote.

• On November 24, the Upper House of the Irish Parliament recognized the Holodomor of the Ukrainian people as genocide.

• On November 24, at a meeting on Thursday, the Parliament of Moldova adopted a declaration recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
