Currently no threat of Russian offensive on Kyiv or repeated large-scale hostilities – Ukrainian MP Venislavsky
Member of the Ukrainian Parliament’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of Ukraine Fedir Venislavsky said that there is no threat of repeated large-scale actions or an offensive on Kyiv
Fedir Venislavsky made the statement at a briefing at the Media Center.
According to the MP, there is currently no threat of a Russian offensive on the Ukrainian capital or a repeat of large-scale actions, but there is a risk for the south and east of Ukraine.
"Regarding the hypothetical possibility of a Russian offensive on the capital of Ukraine or other areas from different directions: just today we heard representatives of the entire intelligence community of Ukraine at a closed-door meeting of the Committee. At the moment, there are no signs of the formation of offensive or strike groups either on the territory of the Republic of Belarus or in all other territories, except for the eastern part of Ukraine - Luhansk and Donetsk regions, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Kupiansk and partly in the southern part of the Zaporizhzhia-Mykolaiv direction. We know the exact picture of their numbers, weapons, readiness or lack of readiness. Today, there are no threats, except for the eastern and southern directions, of any large-scale actions being repeated," he said.
