He told Reuters about this.
According to him, the Ukrainian leadership expects the Russian forces to strike again in the northeast of Kharkiv region or in the south of Zaporizhzhia region.
"Attempts to attack either on the Kharkiv or Zaporizhzhia direction will certainly be made. How successful they'll be will depend on us," Danilov said.
He noted that the Kremlin needs to demonstrate some result to its citizens by the anniversary of the full-scale invasion.
Danilov emphasized that the enemy has not abandoned its plans to conquer Donetsk and Luhansk regions within their administrative boundaries.
- Earlier, the FT wrote that Russia intends to launch another large-scale offensive to capture Donbas within the next 10 days.
