"Compared notes on path to victory": Reznikov and Austin talk before Ramstein

Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov held a telephone conversation with US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin on the eve of another Ramstein format meeting

Reznikov announced this on Twitter.

"Prior to the upcoming Ramstein format meeting I had a conversation with my great friend US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. We compared notes on our cooperation and the path to Victory. This genuine support of the Allies makes me very optimistic about the future. Solidarity becomes efficiency on the battlefield," Reznikov said.

Lloyd Austin, in turn, noted that he "provided an update of U.S. security assistance efforts, and Minister Reznikov detailed recent developments on the ground in Ukraine."

Earlier, Reznikov said that the next Ramstein format meeting may take place in mid-March.
