China comments on Putin's arrest warrant issued by the Hague court
China believes that the International Criminal Court, which issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, should take an "objective position"

This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, Sky News reports.
"China will uphold an objective and fair position on the Ukraine crisis and play a constructive role in promoting talks for peace," Wenbin told reporters.
Chinese President Xi Jinping intends to visit Moscow and hold talks with Vladimir Putin. The Institute for the Study of War suggests that the topic of the talks between the leaders of Russia and China will be Xi Jinping's mediation in the war in Ukraine and ways to circumvent sanctions.

On March 17, the International Court of Justice in the Hague issued an arrest warrant for Putin. He is suspected of forcibly deporting Ukrainian children.
