Canada to transfer 200 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine
Canada will provide Ukraine with 200 Senator armored personnel carriers manufactured by Roshel. The cost of the weapons amounts to more than USD 90 million

Canada’s Defense Minister Anita Anand announced the transfer on January 18, the Globe and Mail reports.
The Senator APCs, manufactured by Roshel, Mississauga, Ontario, can carry 8 passengers, as well as a driver and a passenger in the front seat. There is also a place for a gunner. Weapons can be mounted on top.
These APCs are designed to safely transport soldiers, the injured and equipment.
Ukraine is expected to receive all 200 APCs by the summer.

On January 18, Latvia announced it would send Ukraine Stinger air defense systems, helicopters and drones.

Earlier, Defense Minister Anita Anand reported that Canada would purchase NASAMS air defense systems for Ukraine.
