Canada to hand over confiscated Russian An-124 to Ukraine
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced that Canada will hand over the An-124 Ruslan transport aircraft confiscated from Russia to Ukraine

Shmyhal said that this will be done as part of Canada's new sanctions against Russian companies. In addition to the aircraft, Canada will transfer other assets of the Russian Volga-Dnepr company to Ukraine.
"A new package of sanctions against Russia from Canada. In particular, against Volga-Dnepr. We are preparing to confiscate the An-124 aircraft and other assets of the aggressor in Canada and transfer them to Ukraine," the prime minister writes.
