This was stated by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, Sky News reports.
He recalled that the government had agreed to send 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine.
When asked in the House of Commons when they would arrive in Ukraine, Wallace said: "It'll be this side of the summer, or May - it'll be probably towards Easter time."
He explained that for security reasons he could not announce a schedule for training the Ukrainian military on using the tanks. The minister noted that the soldiers will first be taught how to operate a tank individually, and then instructors will move on to teaching them how to fight in formation.
This year Britain will celebrate Easter on April 9.
On January 29, the Ukrainian military arrived in the UK for training on Challenger 2 tanks.
On January 26, British Defense Procurement Minister Alex Chalk said that the country plans to supply Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine in late March.
