Bosnia, like Kosovo, is in Russian reserve to ignite another armed conflict - diplomat Oleksandr Levchenko
Through Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia is trying to destabilize the Balkans. It is necessary to start another war in Europe and divert attention from Ukraine
This was stated by the former Ambassador of Ukraine to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina Oleksandr Levchenko on Espreso TV.
"As for Croats and Bosniaks in Bosnia, there is almost no pro-Russian sentiment there. Republika Srpska is a completely pro-Russian enclave, more than Serbia itself," he said.
Levchenko claims it is through this enclave that Moscow is trying to destabilize Bosnia and Herzegovina through inter-ethnic, inter-religious tensions, clashes in the formation of the government and actions against the High Representative of the international community in the country.
"Bosnia and Kosovo are always in the reserve of Russia. Moscow is trying to play this card to ignite another armed conflict. To show Europe that the war is not only in Ukraine. The attention of the US, EU and NATO is focused. It is much easier for Russia to maneuver through its influence in Kosovo and Republika Srpska in Bosnia," the diplomat concluded.
