Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called for turning off the holiday lights at 8 pm local time as a sign of support for Ukraine
Boris Johnson wrote about this on Twitter.
“Russia’s barbaric and illegal invasion of Ukraine has led to millions of Ukrainians losing electricity, water and vital supplies. I am supporting the #hourforukraine tonight at 8pm in solidarity with them. Victory to Ukraine!” he tweeted.

On Wednesday, December 21, many countries will hold an action in support of Ukraine. At 8 pm local time, everyone who stands in solidarity with Ukraine in this terrible Russian war will turn off the festive Christmas illumination for a while.
