Blinken presents Zelenskyy's peace proposals at G7 foreign ministers' meeting
On Thursday's virtual meeting the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven countries discussed Ukraine's peace proposals, which were voiced by Volodymyr Zelenskyy to US President Joe Biden
This was stated by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, CNN publication reports.
"I can just tell you that we’re looking at what he’s put forward. I was just on the — the video with our G7 partners this morning. And this is one of the things that we talked about," he said.
The head of American diplomacy called the peace proposals of Ukraine "a good start". "They’re things that everyone should be able to, in one way or another, to rally to," he added.
Blinken didn’t say how long it would take the US and Ukraine to evaluate the peace plan, as the presidents agreed at a meeting the day before.
