Blinken discusses situation in Russia with G7 and EU allies
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has discussed the situation in Russia with G7 foreign ministers and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy
He wrote about it on his Twitter account.
"Spoke today with G7 Foreign Ministers and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy to discuss the ongoing situation in Russia. The United States will stay in close coordination with Allies and partners as the situation continues to develop," the statement said.
According to CNN, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the "ongoing situation in Russia" during a telephone conversation with his counterparts from the G7 and the European Union.
The foreign ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom, plus the EU’s top diplomat, participated in the call.
A State Department spokesperson said that Blinken "reiterated that support by the United States for Ukraine will not change".

In a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin amid the armed mutiny in Russia, Turkish President Recep Erdogan said he was ready to do his part to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
