Bakhmut shows undercover games, conflicts between Russian army and PMCs – Ukrainian serviceman
Ivan Tymochko, a serviceman and chairman of the Reservists' Council of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, notes that Russia’s regular army has been unable to fulfill strategic tasks
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"The eastern bridgehead did not meet the enemy's expectations. Bakhmut demonstrated the difference between two armies, two doctrines, two philosophies of warfare, two philosophies of defense of the respective countries. While Russians tried to capture Bakhmut under the guise of holidays and symbols, the Ukrainian army is fighting the enemy in relation to the tactical and operational situation. The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not tie themselves to dates, but they do tie themselves to success. Bakhmut was the expected result of the enemy being forced to retreat from there," emphasized Tymochko.
According to the head of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Bakhmut demonstrated internal underhanded games and conflicts between the Russian army and private armies.
"On the flanks of Bakhmut, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully defeating not only Wagner mercenaries, but also other PMCs. The private company Veteran was transferred to the Donetsk region to reinforce it, because the regular army of the Russian Federation was unable to fulfill the tasks," Tymochko noted.
