Apart from Iran, North Korea is also ready to help Russia with weapons
Roman Svitan, a military expert, believes that North Korea has certain stocks of ammunition, but there are not as many as it seems, so there may be supplies of Chinese ammunition through DPRK
He told about this on Espreso TV channel.
The military expert commented on which countries and what weapons can provide assistance to Russia.
"Now Iran is a pain point in world politics as Tehran supports Russia with weapons. There are certain agreements between these countries that Iran receives nuclear and military technologies from Russia for such support. Basically, it will be Shahed drones and ballistic missiles such as Fateh-110. And Zolfaghar missiles with a range of 700 km are unlikely to be provided by Iran, because there is a certain agreement on nuclear disarmament, according to which Tehran cannot transfer or sell missiles with a range of more than 300 km. Fateh-110 missiles are suitable for transfer to Russia," the expert noted.
Roman Svitan added that North Korea, which is a satellite of China, can also help Russia with weapons.
"Most likely, through China, North Korea will receive permission to transfer certain types of weapons to Russia, and these may be ammunition for artillery and MLRS, which the Russian army lacks. The Russian military-industrial complex (MIC - ed.) cannot even cope with the daily needs of munitions, because the Russian MIC can produce about 4,000-5,000 shells per day, and 15,000-20,000 are used daily. The Russian forces are looking for ways to increase the supply of ammunition. However, North Korea has some stockpiles of ammunition, but not as many as it seems. So, one of the options may be the supply of Chinese ammunition through North Korea, and this is what the international community will have to closely monitor," Svitan stressed.
