"Not only aircraft is in question, but different platforms. I would not want to prepare Russia for what awaits them in the near future," Prystaiko said.

On February 10, the Netherlands confirmed that Ukraine had requested the supply of F-16 fighter jets.
On February 9, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that his country was ready to provide Ukraine with modern fighter jets, but that NATO member states possessing more of them should do so first.
At the end of January, former Pentagon chief Mark Esper called on the US to provide Ukraine with fighter jets and long-range missiles as soon as possible.
