All air attacks on Kyiv in May were repelled – National Guard reserve major Hetman
Veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, reserve major of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksiy Hetman noted that since the beginning of May, Russian forces have carried out six air attacks on Kyiv
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"Since the beginning of May, Russians have been launching air attacks on Kyiv almost every other day. They must be frustrated because all air attacks on Kyiv in May were repelled. Everything that was flying at Kyiv, from the Kindzhal missiles to Shahed drones, was destroyed by our air defence systems. There are different tactics to destroy different classes of missiles. We have mobile groups that travel with machine guns and destroy drones," explained Hetman.

On May 6, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Ukrainian military had shot down a Russian Kinzhal missile using the Patriot system.
