Air Force assess probability of Russian landing in Kyiv

Spokesman of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat called the scenario of Russian landing in Kyiv or anywhere else in Ukraine unrealistic
He said this on the air of a telethon on January 16.
"Now it is an unrealistic scenario at all... The enemy did not succeed then (February 24, 2022 - ed.) and will not succeed now. Because it will not be possible to fly to the capital and land from IL-76 in any way. I think it will not be possible to fly to the border either," Ihnat said.
According to him, the situation now differs from February 24, when the occupiers made a bold unexpected attack on the outskirts of Kyiv. Now our defenders are ready to meet the enemy with dignity, the Air Force Command spokesman stressed.
