Air defence shoots down 2 drones and 12 missiles over Kyiv
On Friday, June 16, 2 reconnaissance drones, 6 Kinzhals and 6 Kalibrs have been destroyed in Kyiv region during Russia's large-scale daytime attack
The Kyiv City Military Administration informs that Russian troops simultaneously used ballistic and cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to preliminary data from the Air Force, two reconnaissance drones, 6 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, and 6 Kalibr cruise missiles were destroyed during the latest large-scale air raid.
Serhiy Popko, Kyiv City Military Administration head, emphasized: "There is a high probability of repeated rocket attacks in the near future."
On Friday, June 16, Russian troops began striking Ukraine. The capital is in the crosshair of the enemy, and air defense is operating there.

On the night of June 15-16, Russian terrorists attacked the southern regions of Ukraine with drones. Thus, at night, the Air Force's air defence managed to destroy two Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs in the southern part of Mykolaiv region.
