Zelenskyy after meeting with Tusk: Poland greenlights F-16 jets for Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that after his meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Ukraine has received a positive decision from the Polish government regarding the transfer of F-16 fighter jets

He shared this update on X (formerly Twitter).
Zelenskyy noted that the meeting with the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk took place on July 19 at the European Political Community summit in the United Kingdom.
"Today, we have a positive decision from the Polish government on a specific issue, which will allow Ukraine to receive F-16 jets sooner. I am grateful to Prime Minister Tusk for efficiently following up on our previous agreements. I am grateful to Poland for its strong support for Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.

Valeriy Ryabykh, Development Director of the information and consulting company Defence Express, believes that the first F-16 aircraft will be delivered to Ukraine before the end of this summer.
