F-16s from Denmark, Netherlands may arrive in Ukraine by summer end - Defense Express
Valeriy Ryabykh, Development Director of the information and consulting company Defence Express, believes that the first F-16 aircraft will be delivered to Ukraine before the end of this summer
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that F-16 aircraft are already being delivered to Ukraine. We are talking about the aircraft promised to us by Denmark and the Netherlands. These F-16s will be the first aircraft of this type to appear in Ukraine. Blinken's words can actually be considered an official statement. It is the United States that has a decisive influence on the supply of F-16s to Ukraine," Ryabykh said.
According to the expert, the first F-16s will arrive in Ukraine in the next few weeks.
"The process of supplying F-16s to Ukraine is inevitable. This was confirmed by Antony Blinken. In particular, he stressed that the first F-16s will arrive in Ukraine this summer. I think the F-16s will be in Ukraine within the next few weeks. At least by the end of August this year," he added.
